Tattoos

Tattoos go back as early as Ancient Egypt and Mummies. Mostly the female mummies have been discovered to have had tattoos. Tattoo art was also popular in Japan and other Asian cultures. During the Jomon, Yayoi and Kofun periods tattooing flourished. The popularity of tattoo remained popular during World War II. Sailors and soldiers bore their allegiances to their country and their women with body art. The next movement was during the Hippie era.

Today tattoos have reached a new popularity. Whether or not you have a plain or an elaborate tattoo, It usually has a personal meaning. They can sometime serve as declaration of love, a symbol of someone passing away, adornment, or even religious belief. Tattoos are becoming more and more popular and accepted than it has ever been. It went from getting a cute little tattoo on your arm or lower back to becoming a collage or masterpiece of art on your arms, back and chest. Now people from all classes are seeking the best tattoo artist.
